Doggie Daycare: What happens?

Doggie Daycare runs Tuesday to Friday. We have different days for different temperaments, ages and needs.

Each day runs differently, some days are designed to appeal to high energy dogs, other days are designed for mental stimulation and enrichment.

We tailor the days based on the group to ensure each dog returns home feeling engaged and satisfied

A general day will include:

Adventure Walk

Groups are divided into 2 – your dog will need to be comfortable being alone for 1-2 hours while we rotate the walking group

Enrichment

Enrichment (aka ‘snack time’) post-walks allows your dog to calm and self-soothe after an exciting and sensory adventure. This usually consists of frozen kong-like or lick-mat style treats

Rest

Rest is an important part of any dog’s day as tired dogs cannot manage and control their impulses. Rest allows your dog to recover and focus, preventing them from becoming ‘over-tired’ and losing their ability to be their “best self”

Learning

We end the day with a variety of games, play and learning activities to help your dog focus and develop socialization skills and work their brains in a fun environment

Daycare Tips

Leash & Harness
While we have spares, your doggos leash and harness ensure it feels comfortable on our adventure walks
Changes Happen
Let us know if changes happen - it helps us organize our day accordingly!
Respect our Neighbours
As we operate out of a home, please respect our neighbours by not arriving too early in the morning, or too late in the evening
